Corporate and Institutional Partners
The business and institutional communities are integral partners in stemming the spread of viral diseases worldwide. Viral outbreaks, such as SARS-CoV-2 / COVID19, know no boundaries and spread rapidly beyond national borders. They are accompanied by uncertainty, social instability, and can cause significant losses to workforces, productivity, and revenue streams. Multinational corporations, businesses, and institutions with international interests are vital partners in preparations against current and future potential pandemics and in stopping the spread of viruses.
The main goal of corporate and institutional partnerships is to link the these organizations with leading medical virologists. In doing so, these partnerships support cutting edge viral research, drug and vaccine development, training activities, as well as aid in increased awareness of medical virology issues and strengthening international viral preparedness and response.
