Marianna Cortese, MD, PhD

Dr. Cortese is a Senior Research Scientist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She obtained her medical degree in 2013 from the University of Heidelberg in Germany and her Ph.D. in Epidemiology in 2017 from the University of Bergen in Norway. Her work focuses on identifying risk factors and biomarkers for the onset and progression of multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
Kjetil Bjornevik, MD, PhD

Dr. Bjornevik is an Assistant Professor of Nutrition and Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He obtained his medical degree and Ph.D. in epidemiology from the University of Bergen, Norway. He conducts epidemiological research aiming at identifying new biomarkers, risk factors, and treatments for neurological diseases, including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
